Our specialist counsellors have many years’ experience of working with children and young people and adults and are members of various governing bodies such as British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapists (BACP) National Counselling Society (NCS), UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT), British Psychological Society (BPS) among others.
All counsellors have Enhanced Disclosures from the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).
Our work enables family members, to find each other, and move forward in a way that leaves nobody behind. Our work helps couples and others to navigate the challenges of the family unit. In shared and in family relationships, communication is so important to understand each other’s experiences and views, appreciate each other’s needs, build on strengths and make useful changes in the relationships.
We will work with individuals and the whole family unit to facilitate communication and to improve relations between all members.
We would normally work with a family for up to six sessions at 3-4 weeks intervals. Our family work is carried out by experienced and qualified family therapist from varied backgrounds and working with different modalities.
