Child Contact – Supervised and Supported Contact

Spectrum is an enhanced Accredited Child Contact Centres, we are accredited by the National Association of Child Contact Centre (NACCC) and work to their guidelines policies practices and procedures.

Spectrum offers a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, we provide an impartial, friendly, non discriminatory and non-judgemental service to children and families, regardless of race, culture, sexual orientation or religious affiliation can enjoy private quality time for themselves and their children.

We provide both Supervised and Supported Contact and work in partnership with CAFCASS, Fostering & Adoption agencies, Solicitors the Local Authorities and the courts.

Among our aims and objectives:

– support the re-building of relationships between parents and children

– Develop a professional working partnership with Families, Local Authorities, Lawyers and other Professionals /bodies.

– Work to the codes and guidelines within the National Association of Child Contact Centres.

Supervised Contact, Face to face discreet contact with children and parents will be provided by our fully trained contact facilitators providing full written reports to the commissioning body.

We will be able to facilitate the exchange of child/children at our premises without Parents having to meet face to face. We also provide community supervision.

Contact Suites, All of our contact suites are well furnished to a high standard and suitable for all ages.

A fully equipped kitchen is available where Parents are encouraged to prepare snacks and light refreshments for their children and themselves.

Referral Process, we accept referrals from Local Authorities, Solicitors, private clients, the courts and private clients.

Referrers must complete a referral form with associated risk assessment.
